Dave Norris - Vice President
Dave Norris has lived in Idaho Falls most of his life and was active
in drama class in junior high school. His first taste of theatre
was the classic Who's on First, originally from Abbot and
Costello. He has always enjoyed making people laugh but took a
break for about 25 years; probably just lazy.
Dave's best friend, Lynn Crowley, got him involved in ARTI when he talked Dave into auditioning for Everybody Loves Opal. From then on, Dave was hooked. Since then, and with roles in Lie, Cheat and Genuflect, Dearly Departed and Sealed for Freshness, Dave has come to call ARTI a second home. In 2007, Dave tested deeper waters, taking a step off the stage and putting on the Assistant Director's hat, with shows such as Jake's Women, Steel Magnolias and Sealed for Freshness. Dave also lends a helping hand with set construction whenever possible.
The 2009 - 2010 season has been very busy for Dave, as he has been cast in the plays Sealed for Freshness and November, along with directing Death by Fatal Murder. ARTI is filled with very talented and loving friends and family, and he is honored to be in their company.
